The earliest opening for dormitories is on July 7th. Therefore, if you arrive before the opening date of July 7th we recommend you stay at guesthouse previous students and fellows have enjoyed:

The dormitories do not provide students with bedding such as:

pillow, blanket, and mattress cover. So, these items will need to be purchased

in Korea or brought from home. You can buy the bedding at Grand Mart or Hyundai Department store near Sogang University.

How to get to Sogang University

+ Fly to Korea via Incheon International Airport

+ Shinchon by Limousine Bus from Incheon International Airport (ICN)

Right outside of the arrival floor of the Airport, there are 23 bus stops. You will find a bus stop, "5B or 12A". The limousine bus, numbered 6002, will take you to Shinchon Station. It will take about 50 minutes to get to Shinchon by the limousine bus. The fare for the limousine is 10,000KRW (about USD 9). Sogang University is a 10 minutes' walk from the station. You can also take a taxi from the bus stop to dormitories (Fare: 2,500~3,000won). 

+ Shinchon by Taxi from Incheon International Airport

You may also take a taxi on the first floor of the airport. There are three kinds of taxis; Regular, Deluxe, and Jumbo. The fare of the Regular taxi to Sogang University is approximately 65,000KRW (about USD 60), while the fare of the Deluxe or Jumbo cab costs much more. Make sure to carry enough taxi fees with you because the fee is subject to change.

+ Shinchon by Subway from Incheon International Airport

To get to Sogang, take the airport express train from Incheon to Seoul and transfer to the line no. 6 at Gongdeok station, and finally, get off at Daeheung station. Get out exit 1 and you can reach the south gate within 8 minutes on foot.
